El Segundo's Main Street Car Show

Came to check out El Segundo's Main Street Car Show for the first time this year, and I must say some beautiful cars showed up. The 4 full blocks of cars was just full of eye candy. From fully restored hot rods to some kustom rods showed up. I captured a lot of these cars but since many have been shot before in other local hot rod shows... I decided to only show a few that stood out. Enjoy

Went to visit the guys at Gasoline to check out their Art Gallery... finally bought a piece I've been having my eye on... since I couldn't make it to their Art Show Opening featuring Scott Aicher's art pieces I didn't get to have first pic... but this is the piece I got. :)

Gasoline's 2011 Hot Rod & Art Show

These were taken on my Canon Rebel T1i. Gasoline is located in Downtown El Segundo and they have been in business over 15 years. Gasoline has been bringing the town nothing but Car Culture and Art. But at first the town wasn't too thrilled in having them come in since their scene has too much "funk" from the explicit pin up girls on canvas to their music. But I personally "love it!" They are always friendly when entering their store and always have awesome Art Exhibits of current Artist in this Culture. If your ever in town go check out their store!

As you can see, she arrived in pretty beat condition.

few rust spots here and there... nothing a lil polish wont help.

So I'm new to blogging but I thought I should give it a try. Here I will be posting photos that I personally take and some that I feel that look great from other photographers. I'm a big Hobbyist and love working on things! One passion is cars; from working on them to shooting them, they have been around me for years. So you might see a lot of photos of just that. Another close hobby of mine is building vintage bicycles into fixies/single speeds. So I'll try to keep you posted on what I'm working on.
